Ding Ding: Round Two

So unfortunately I haven't done much blogging or much photo taking! But I have been pretty active on my bike learning the local trails here in Squamish, BC. And there is lots to learn... Mainly I've been riding my Scott Genius the best bike I own for exploring and keeping the legs turning.

I'm learning new trails and areas on every ride I've been on, recently I had a visit from some Whistler friends and we rode a few of these new trails together its great riding and showing trails to friends that you have learnt. There is so many trails I want to show to my riding buddies back home in Ireland and I know someday I will, hopefully by then I wont have forgotten the fun ones that sometimes you forget about with your own ever expanding knowledge of the areas.

I have been out on my Specializied SX which is highly entertaining. I spent a day up on Diamond head rallying down as many trails as I could pedal up to, the SX is not the most efficient climbing bike in my quiver but it's with out a doubt the most playful I've owned and it loves to be blasted down trails, more to come on that...

Since I moved from Whistler my Scott Gambler has been out of action, after it spent a whole season getting flung down Whistler Bike park and a day or two in Pemberton and Squamish, both shocks needed a good seeing too and lucky for me they also got some upgrading thanks to OGC/FOX Racing Shox. Now I'm itching to get out there on it, play with my dials and get some dirty winter shuttling miles racked up!! Oh yeah!!

Last but not least is my ever faithful Haro dirtjumper, this gets plenty of miles on it but all are nearly road commuting miles. but when I can I use these miles to my full advantage if I'm not practicing my manualing I'm using it for some 'off the cuff' interval training. And before the snow and rain came I got some well needed air miles on it, soooo good to get back dirt jumping and sadly it was short lived due to the ever reliable seasons!
